How do you make soya kabab as tasty as non-vegetarian kababs?

To make soya kababs as tasty as non-vegetarian kababs, you can follow the following tips:

  • Marination: If these were non-veg kebabs, we would have needed marination.. but here we will make  veg kababs without marination, which will make them super tasty.
  • Spices and Seasonings: Use a specific amount of aromatic spices and seasonings to mimic the flavors of non-vegetarian kababs. Along with the basic spices like cumin, coriander, and garam masala, you can also add spices like black cardamom, cloves, specially those spices which are always there in your spice box. Adjust the spice levels according to your taste preferences.
  • Texture: Non-vegetarian kababs usually have a juicy and tender texture. To achieve a similar texture with soy kababs, ensure that the mixture is well combined and the soya granules are hydrated properly. Squeezing out excess water from the soaked soy granules. You can also add a small amount of bread crumbs or gram flour (besan) to bind the mixture together and give it a meaty texture.
  • Cooking Technique: Pay attention to the cooking technique to achieve the desired taste and texture. You can cook soy kababs on a grill, in the oven, or on a stovetop using a pan. Grilling or baking the kababs can give them a smoky flavor and crispy . If using a pan, shallow frying or pan-frying with a oil, So you have to take care of the flame.. fry them only on low to medium flame, which will properly cook them inside or become crispy outside. 
  • Garnishes: Sprinkle some chaat masala, and garnish with onion rings. Serve them with mint chutney, tamarind chutney or any dip of your choice.
