Directions/Instructions for Kacche kele ki sabji recipe - Raw banana curry
- We need to cut raw bananas. And if they stick to your hands while cutting, you need to apply some oil on your hands. After cutting the bananas, they should be put directly into water, otherwise they may turn black.
- After cutting the bananas, they should be taken out of the water and transferred to a container. Then, little sprinkle of normal spices should be put on the bananas. After that, you need to mix everything well with your hands so that the bananas are coated with the spices properly.
-Then, we need to fry the bananas in very little oil. After frying, we will add all the tempering things to the remaining oil. If you feel that there is not enough oil in the pan, you can increase the quantity of oil as required.
- Heat oil in a pan and add few cumin seeds, rai dana ( black musturd seeds), hing , tejpatta, methi dana(fenugreek seeds), ajwain, badi elichi, dal chini stick. When they start crackling, add onion paste and sauté until translucent.
-We will add ginger-garlic paste to it and sauté for another minute. After that, we will add tomato and green chilli paste to it. Then, we will add all the spices (Salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder, haldi powder, dhaniya powder , garam masala powder) and mix well and cook the paste until it releases oil.
- Then, we need to add homemade curd, which is at room temperature, to the paste in small amounts over low flame. We should keep stirring it continuously while adding the curd.
- Next, we need to add 1 glass of water to it and wait for it to come to a boil. Once it starts boiling, we should cover it with a lid and let it cook on medium flame for 5 minutes. This will help to thicken the gravy.
- When the gravy starts to boil, then we add the fried bananas to the gravy, cover it with a lid, and cook on medium flame for another 4-5 minutes, until they are tender.
- Once the bananas are cooked, remove the lid and let the water evaporate. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, roti paratha’s or puri too…
